Become a model for one of our students. The tattoo or piercing is done by the student, with an experienced studio artist supervising the entire process. You get a finished tattoo or piercing for free, while the student gains hands-on experience under professional guidance.

Confirm 24 hours in advance
If you don’t confirm, the slot will be offered to the next person on the waiting list
Come to the studio
The student does the tattoo while the artist supervises every stage
Why Is It Free?
Students need hands-on experience working on real skin to develop their skills and become professional tattoo artists. The academy also needs completed work for its graduates’ portfolios. You want a tattoo, and the student needs the experience - so it’s a fair exchange: you give them your time and the opportunity to practise, and you get a tattoo without paying for the work.

The Student Works - But Never Alone
An experienced artist is there throughout the session
A practising studio artist supervises every stage and steps in whenever needed. The student is never left to work on your skin unsupervised.
Practice comes before real skin
Students don’t start with models from day one. They first complete dozens of hours of practice on synthetic skin, and the design is approved by the instructor before the session.
The same hygiene standards as for paying clients
The same autoclave, single-use needles and sterile materials are used. Training does not mean compromising on hygiene or safety standards.

Yes, the student’s work is free. If you choose to cover the cost of materials, we’ll appreciate it, but this is entirely optional and not a condition of booking.
No. Anything related to payment is discussed before your appointment and will not change once you arrive.
We offer designs that the student is ready to work on at their current level. You can suggest your own design, and we’ll confirm it if the complexity is suitable.
A VEAN Academy student, under constant supervision from an experienced studio artist.
The same hygiene standards apply as for paying clients: autoclave sterilisation, single-use needles and disposable materials.
The sensation is the same as with a professional artist - it depends on the placement and your individual pain threshold.
